Peer Mentors provide yearlong mentoring to facilitate connections for incoming Lamar University students through regular communication including weekly meet ups in the first 8 weeks of the Fall semester. Peer Mentors help provide a collaborative and welcoming environment for students that aid in their transition to Lamar University. Professional Mentors, together with Peer Mentors, provide a collaborative and welcoming environment to facilitate connections for incoming students that aid in their transition to Lamar University. You must hold at least a bachelor's degree and be employed by Lamar University to be considered.
